Configuring inbound gateways on Microsoft 365 allows email flowing through EntrustedMail to bypass certain spam filters and spam block lists on the Microsoft gateways.  This does the following:

  • Allows inbound email from the Secure Message Portal to be properly delivered to your domain
  • Reduce the chance of inbound encrypted email being marked as Spam
  • Reduce temporary deferments caused by intra-domain email routed through EntrustedMail
